Task II: Requirements for the Job
The President serves as the leader of the Executive Branch... but how does a person become President?! I am glad you asked! For a person to become President they must meet certain requirements, just like a congressman or a senator (think back to all you know about the Legislative Branch). Your first task requires you to analyze an excerpt of Article II, Section I of the US Constitution (also found on your desk still). If you recall, Article I establishes the Legislative Branch, in Article II you will find out how the Executive Branch is established. Read the guiding questions below to the left and analyze the transcript of the US Constitution to the right.
